Why Elope in Moab?

Here are some ways to narrow down your ceremony location before taking a look at this list.

  • Close your eyes and think about your wedding day. What do you see?
  • How do you want it to feel?
  • What three things are most important to you and your partner for your day?
  • Do you want to have a sunrise or a sunset ceremony?
  • Do you plan on having guests?

When you elope you can do whatever the heck you want. Just get married. The rest is up to you! That’s why it’s important to have a vision for your day. Take a look at these 5 ceremony locations to see which one feels right for you.

Castle Valley is full of beautiful sandstone towers; Castleton Tower is the most iconic of them. This spot is beautiful at sunset and has plenty of room for exploring.

Dead Horse Point State Park

Dead Horse Point has iconic views sweeping canyons and winding rivers. It has an incredible sunset- the best in Moab in my opinion.

Canyonlands National Park: Mesa Arch

Mesa Arch is a popular spot within Canyonlands National Park for good reason. At sunrise the arch glows bright orange and acts as a window looking down into the canyon. This spot tends to be crowded, but is well worth sharing with others.

Moab BLM Land: Corona Arch

Corona Arch offers a scenic hike that leads to two different arches- Bowtie and Corona. This adventure is great for those who want to work a little for the view and witness a beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Moab has plenty of ceremony location to choose from, but these 5 are each beautiful in their own ways. Just imagine eloping among the red dirt. Sandstone towers, or an arch, or a canyon view surrounds you. Which location would you choose?
